Our history

The project was launched on Monday 10 October 2022 at the Faïencerie cultural centre in Creil, in the presence of Isabelle Lonvis-RomeMinister Delegate to the Prime Minister, responsible for Equality between Women and Men, Diversity and Equal Opportunities, and the many local partners working to promote women's rights. For many years, ACSO has been committed to promoting equality between women and men and combating violence against women.

Carrefour de femmes is the next step in supporting young women and women in our region. A one-stop shop, a genuine resource centre for all women in the Creil Sud Oise conurbation.

Aware that young women are the first victims of sexual and gender-based violence (SGBV), ACSO has created a specific listening and counselling space for young women (aged 15-25) who are victims of SGBV, as part of the Carrefour de femmes programme.
